Our story in Pizza Boutique is simple. We love pizza.
Founded of the back of a pop-up in January 2015 (what is now our Hillsborough takeaway site) we had a simple idea that was cemented in our love for pizza & the passion for local ingredients, so we began to experiment..
Now with an added restaurant located on 34 Castle Street Belfast, this is not your average pizzeria, serving average pizzas.
Pizza Boutique offers something very special and unique – handmade pizzas with an Irish twist and packed with flavour, using locally sourced ingredients to create many of our recipes & toppings.
The chef-partner James Neilly has worked in many of the well-known and recognised food establishments in Northern Ireland. Beginning many years ago in Paul Rankin’s restaurants run by Andy Rea, James has since cooked at establishments such as Mourne Seafood Bar, The Potted Hen & in recent years has hosted 100’s of classes in Belfast Cookery School. His passion for food and expertise clearly shows.
James has since teamed up with Bob McCoubre, the co-founder of the multi award winning restaurant group “Mourne Seafood Bar” together to create Pizza Boutique Belfast, a cool & relaxed environment available to everyone at very affordable prices.
Alongside the more well-known classics, Pizza Boutique selects ingredients from the finest of local producers such as, Italian fennel sausage, supplied by the multi award winning Hannan Meats, black pudding from the Clonakilty Food Company, mozzarella from Toons Bridge Dairy and flavoured rapeseed oils from Brioghter Gold Rapeseed Oil.
These amazing toppings, along with the handmade base, make a beautiful pizza and all are priced under £10 in our Belfast site, that has the added benefit of Bring Your Own beer & wine.
